The dark arts

Right, so I am blogging again, apologies for the delay but to say the word busy would be a complete understatement. I do hope all is well you my fellow bloggers in the blogosphere. Today’s post is centring on unscrupulous behaviour that is used to persuade others to have a bout of amnesia.

The amount of times I have seen shady shadowy figures lurking around the corridors of power is mind blowing, from backbench MP’s to prominent members of the judiciary, business leaders and civil servants. There is no place free from cover-ups, scandalous being swept under the carpet or just put to one side until those in the ‘dark arts’ need to bring up the scandal for their own benefit.

I have been a member of ‘the other place’ for a considerable amount of time now and it still amazes me what people can say to get others to do things. There can be a quiet word in someone’s ear or even letting the press know of a ‘small’ secret, when I say ‘small’ I mean small as a number of those guilty of sordid behaviour always have more than one, two three or four secrets!

I remember one occasion years ago when I was in a popular restaurant close to Westminster with a colleague and noticed that a member of the then government was having lunch with what literally is a cliché but a shady figure. My colleagues turned to me and bluntly says “what the bloody hell is HE up to”, of course intrigue got the better me and I of course had to ask further questions, apparently this ‘shady’ figure was employed by Her Majesty to "Regnum Defende".

I questioned my colleague further and asked why he had thought this seemingly competent member of government had done "something wrong". Apparently this defender of the realm was well known within 'circles' to be a fixer, a fixer for what can only be described as a gentleman's friend, he was a fixer of debauchery.

With the scandals of Savile, Clifford and Hall and more recently Westminster I felt I had to blog like  I have in the past about what I ave heard over the years. I have no concrete proof that what i write would be able to convict someone beyond reasonable doubt but for more own sanity at least i have spoken. Again i wont mention names but i will give you approximate dates of two periods of time for you to cast your eyes over whom i might be speaking of.

A dear friend once told me of a scandal of the sexual nature at the time of the Heath government, this involved high profile members of the Conservative party, the judiciary, organised crime, entertainment, business and local authority workers. The years around the Heath government was one of the worst in modern history and that sexual and physical abuse occurred by those of a 'high profile' and 'establishment figures'. It is of course a fact that Heath never married a women.....draw your own conclusions of his sexuality......I will also let you draw on your own conclusions on what gender of the abused children were.

During the Wilson years it was widely known that one of the party's own MP's were engagement in criminal activities, this MP now a 'noble' Lord was given a 'talking to' yet know one within the hierarchy of the party proceeded with their 'threats', in fact they were scared of him. They knew that this MP was a very 'important' and influential person who could help with funding the party and they were not willing to step in and challenge the wrong but to stand by and allow the injustice to carry on.

Not so secret

Apologises my fellow bloggers it has been a while since I last uploaded, it has been hectic as usual, sometimes it has been enthralling and others time rather mundane.

So ‘Not so secret’ who’s it about, well you should know me by now that I won’t be giving any names as the thought of a libel action against me doesn’t sound to pleasantest and the thought of losing money doesn’t appeal to me.

So here goes, as the title explains the secret is well and truly out of their savile row bags, this ‘group’ although others my call it a gathering of sexual perverse animalistic  Honourable Members and Nobel Lords.

I here that every so often, I think roughly quarterly these ‘finest established political elite’ meet up for what they may describe as a gathering to discuss the current political climate, however I have learnt that their ‘discussions’ do not always, or I should say never discuss the political process, it is in fact a meeting ground for what can only can be described as a breeding ground for sexual liberalism.

The members which I shall call canis like are mostly snorting some kind of illegal substance include passing around a glass pipe full of the finest central London crack, they are debauched, lack reason, morally senseless and care nothing about their loved ones, which there are many.

I blog not because I want money or fame or want self gratification, I blog because I do not think it is correct for Honourable and Nobel peoples to behaviour in a manner for which they will criticize others even though they will more than likely be the first people to behaviour in that manner.

A repugnant Labour Lord

I know I haven’t posted in a while but I have been extremely busy, I still am but I need to blog tonight. As I am sure you are all aware there have been some stories of late of the behaviour of Members of Parliament. I have been saying for far too long now that the behaviour of some in both the Commons and the Lords is unacceptable.

I have seen firsthand the behaviour of what some feel is acceptable and it is not, the recent stories have shown that there has been a massive cover up from all of the main political parties and it has to stop.

Tonight’s ‘story’ shall be on the subject of a Labour Lord. This Lord who again is another well known figure within British and International politics feels he has a ‘right’ to ‘choose’ who he shall be going home with any given night.

This Lord is in a relationship, like most other repugnant individuals, he is what I can only describe as a complete slithery snake; he oozes self gratitude, feels he is above fellow members and thrusts his opinions on others. I am completed flabbergasted that there has not been more reporting on this individuals antics, he doesn’t hide what he gets up to in fact I feel that he enjoys others knowing what he does get up to, he does this because he knows that his ‘friends’ will shut down any operation to discredited him, however discredited he is already.

I am blogging tonight because a friend of mine had asked for my comments on this particular person and I gave it to him, I realised that through the recent scandals nothing has been said of this ‘Lord’. I hope it isn’t too long before this weasel of a ‘man’ gets what should be coming to him, I know that doesn’t sound to civilised but on this occasion I am being reserved.

"Sh*gging the editor"

In an era of ‘House of Cards’ and formally ‘The Thick of It’ I thought I thought I would blog about Public Relations and media persuasion.

I shall give an example, (I shall not name where this happened as I wouldn’t want to allow those involved to query who I am). It was a press conference about 10 years ago and involved an experienced reporter and a ‘spin doctor’. I saw at first hand the persuasive technique a ‘spin doctor’ uses or has at their disposal.

The press conference was outlining policy areas for an upcoming election and at the back of the room this ‘doctor’ was forthrightly jabbing his finger into his documentation, I couldn’t hear what was being said as I was a at a reasonable distance away, but could only imagine what profanities were being quietly but menacingly broadcasted.

Intrigue normally gets the better of me, and  like it mostly does the temptation did and I felt compelled firstly to see if the reporter was alright but in all honesty I wanted to  have a sneaky listen, so I obviously obliged my temptation and casually but quietly  shuffled along to the conversation.

To say politics is a refined ‘profession’ would be a misconception and a misrepresentation, as I am sure you are all aware politics can get brutal, it’s a dog eat dog world and with some members that means a dog eat dog world.

Anyway, I digress, this ‘Spin doctor’ a modern day svengali, a torturer of the tortured was giving a ‘lesson’ on the opportunities she could have if the coverage was in favour of the policy, however this conversation was short lived on my arrival when another ‘doctor’ arrives onto the scene who had a very thick northern accent proclaims, and I quote as far as I can remember “the coverage better me f*c*ing good otherwise your husband’s going to know you’ve been sh*ggi*g your editor”.

In the end the coverage went down reasonable well with some sections of the press, especially the organisation the reporter came from and apparently the reporter and her husband are still together, I know this because I was introduced to them both as Mr and Mrs ............. only last week.

The Randy Lord

Now to the blog about the randy Lord, this Lord a Labour Lord who had been in the Lords for donkeys years, he was well known in circles to have a fond liking for young males and I witnessed an assault, he was touching this young man who must have been in his early twenties, provocatively and would not let him go past. Can I just say I did make sure that the young man was able to get away.

This incident didn't actually happen inside Parliament but outside the building, at first I thought they were chatting but then I heard this Lord verbally insinuate what plans he had for himself and this young man later on that evening, to say I was shocked would be an understatement. At first I made myself look busy as it could have been in all honesty a 'consensual' conversation but I then heard this poor guy brush the remarks off and I could hear through his voice his unease.

I decided to go over and ask if all was alright as I couldn't just leave this guy in that situation, the response I got from this peer astounded me with words such as "f**k off, you bat”, and “mind your own business”. I was really shaken but stood my ground and eventually the Lord; as what he wanted me to do 'p***ed off'.

I know this entry hasn’t been to in depth, it is just I am so tired as I have been extrnely busy of late. I said I would upload a post so I didn’t want to let you all down. I hope I got over what happened.

Lastly I just wanted to say even though I have posted about what Members get up to I shall also be posting about what parliamentary assistants get up to as well as visitors and lobbyists also.

The behaviour of a female M.P

I said that I would blog about the behaviour of some Members in the Houses of Parliament the other day but I was so busy I have only just got around to doing so, apologies fellow bloggers.

The whole affair of the 'sex pest' allegations of a Liberal Democrat Member of the House of Commons Mike Hancock and Liberal Democratic Peer Chris Rennard has made me want to post about the behaviour of a number of other Members in both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. I wont do a Sally Bercow and name anyone; however there is a difference between my posts and hers, I know for a fact that some members behaviour would be classed as assault as I have witnessed first hand their inappropriate behaviour.

I am going to tell you about a female M.P and a male Lord as I wouldn't want to be classed as bias against a particular sex. I will be blogging today about a female M.P and in the next few days a Labour Lord.

Before I was a Member of the House of Lords I worked closely within the Westminster arena and this one female M.P, a Conservative, had more than a few to many after a debate went on longer than expected, she was, what could be described as paralytic, she had been knocking the drinks back for what seemed like hours, and in all honesty I think it was.

The behaviour of this M.P was getting more risqué by the minute and I saw her quite literally grope this male, I was later told that he was an assistant to another M.P. I remember this poor young man not knowing what to do, she had with force grabbed his legs and started to manoeuvre her hands on his stomach and pinch his bottom before a female Labour M.P intervened, I was later told by another of my colleagues not a Member of the Houses of Parliament that she would often, but not all the time get a bit 'leery' with the male parliamentary assistants and lobbyists.

Civil Service

I know I have said that I shall be blogging about the gossip in Westminster and the stories I have heard and seen firsthand but as there is a debate on the Future of the Civil Service tomorrow in the House I just wanted to say a few words.

Politician’s from all parties give the civil service a lot of ‘stick’ in the press  and some in the public feel that they are another ‘drain on the budget’ BUT most, not all the work they do is of fundamental importance of the continuation of the working and functioning of this country.

I remember reading one article by a senior MP about the role and effectiveness of the Civil Service and all he could muster was denigration and contempt for the ‘machine’ that effectively runs the country, the civil service. This MP forgot to say that Members of Parliament and their teams heavily rely on the civil service in order for Members of the Parliament to be able to work in the interests of the county.

A civil servant once said to me a few years ago, which his words were “we get the shit when shit happens even though we haven’t made the decision, all we give you lot is the information”, his comments stuck with me because I feel I am a person with substance who will admit when I have done something wrong or has come to a wrong conclusion, unfortunately we live in a society where politicians do not and will not take reasonability for their actions and are happy to pass the ‘buck’.

As with every organisation there will come a time when changes need to be made but changes do not mean getting rid of an organisation that has flaws but contributes massively to the continuation of governments and for which effectively runs the country in times of general elections.
